Summer Youth Employment Program

Summer Youth Employment Program

Applications for the Employment & Training Center’s Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) will be available at all Allegany County school guidance offices and at the E&T Center in Belmont, NY beginning on Monday, March 23, 2015. The deadline for applications is Friday, May 1, 2015. SYEP provides eligible youth ages 14 – 21 with an opportunity to earn money while learning positive work habits. All jobs are part time and pay $8.75 per hour. Up-to-date Working Papers are required for youth 18 and under. Youth do NOT need to be attending school to apply. Youth must be economically disadvantaged and/or have barriers to employment.
