It is with great excitement that we share with you our Senior class recipients of the Honor Cord. These six seniors have received Honor Roll for at least two quarters each year throughout their 9th-12th grade high school career. This academic pursuit was accomplished by working hard, being dedicated and preserving. During the graduation ceremony they will be wearing a purple Honor Cord to symbolize their achievement. Congratulations to: Kaitlyn Calladine, Jaycie Carlin, Sara French, Liberty Gaylord, Kelsie Niedermaier and Livia Simon. Andover is so proud of you!

Attention Parents and Guardians: As we get closer to the end of the school year, we would like to give some information on important dates for the coming weeks. The NYS Education Department (NYSED) has cancelled several Regents Exams. Because of this, the NYSED is requiring that we add classroom days to the school year for secondary students (Grades 7 – 12). Previously, we had planned the last day of classes for students in grades 7 -12 to be June 15. Now, the last day of classes for these students will be June 21. The last day of classes for elementary students (PK – 6) will be June 24, with dismissal at 11:30. Mr. Morris has outlined these and other important dates here: https://5il.co/shq7

ACS Families: Consistent with updated guidance from our local health officials, if a member of your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, your child cannot report for in-person instruction until the symptomatic individual is tested. If negative, your child can return to in-person instruction. If positive, further instruction will be provided by the Department of Health. The Daily Health Screening has been updated to include certification that there are not any household members experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Please contact Beth Klein with any questions. ACS Families: It's time for Mrs. Richmond to begin planning for next year's breakfast and lunch menu options! Every year she surveys our students to determine their favorite foods. With this year being different, she's asking that you take a moment or two to complete the following survey with input from your child(ren). There is a space for additional suggestions as well. We all know that Mrs. Richmond works very hard to keep our students well fed with options that they like, so she greatly appreciates your input. Please complete this survey by Friday, January 22nd. As always, contact the school with any questions. Have a great weekend! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-Z9NaqZAfcD1VV-bS4Md1kdmzd1emCV0UIyuywWrZBm5_uQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
