Andover Central School needs people who are dedicated, positive, and organized. These individuals will lead our student-athletes for the Spring 2026 season. We want coaches who focus on character, good sportsmanship, and building basic skills.

Main Duties & Needs
Leadership & Character: Be a good example. Help players learn self-control, good sportsmanship, and how to succeed in school and sports.
Environment: Create a well-organized and challenging setting. For Modified Baseball, you must focus on helping new and developing players.
Effective Communication: Keep communication clear and positive with athletes, parents, and the Athletic Director.
Player Development: We are committed to teaching basic skills. We will help every athlete reach their full potential.

Administrative Oversight:
Watch over athletes during all practices and games.
Take care of equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
Keep correct records (eligibility, emergency information).
Plan schedules and details with the Athletic Department.

Certification Requirements
The district can help candidates get these certifications:
New York State Coaching Certification
First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification
Required Mandated Training and Workshops
Fingerprint Clearance / Background Check
