📅 Today is Friday, September 25, 2026, and we're on B Schedule!

 

🚗 Attention Students in Grades 10-12! 🚗 Fall Driver's Ed sign-ups are now open in the guidance office. If you're eager to get on the road, make sure you have your NYS Learner’s Permit and a personal email address for filing with the DMV ready before you sign up. Classes will kick off on Monday at 3:15 PM with Mr. Owen, and spots are limited to selected students.

 

🎭 There will be a Drama Club meeting at 3:15 PM on Tuesday in Room 145. 🎭

 

🌟 September's Character Trait is "Culture of Belonging,” ensuring that others feel welcomed, known, included, and supported. We are asking teachers and staff to nominate ONE student each month who truly exemplifies that month’s character trait. We will be celebrating September through November traits in December. Please submit September's nominations to Karen Odom by Wednesday, September 30th. 🌟

 

📸 Seniors - your 2 Baby Pictures, Senior Picture, and Throwback Pictures are due for Yearbook by October 1st, 2026. Submit to cmupdyke@andovercsd.org. For the throwback pictures, you can send up to four but must order them by your favorite. These will be space permitting. 📸

 

🗓️ The next Monthly Activity Period will be held during 9th Period on Wednesday, October 7th. Student Council and SADD will meet in the PAWS room. 🗓️

 

🔍 There is a Career Exploration Fair at Franklinville High School hosted by CABOCES on October 7th. See details on the poster outside the guidance office. 🔍

 

👗 Attention students: please remember formal dresses are available if you are in need in the PAWS closet. 👗

 

🎓 Juniors and seniors, a Houghton University Admissions Rep will be here October 28th at 8:30 am. Set your alarms! 🎓

 

🎬 Sign-ups for the fall one-act plays are outside room 145, Mr. Hennessey's room. If you have any questions, please stop in and ask! 🎬

 

📚 Students are needed for the Yearbook Club for the 2026-2027 school year! If you’re interested in joining and are in grades 9-12, please see Mrs. Updyke in Room 149. A sign-up form was also sent to your school email. Sign up by the end of the day. 📚

 

⚽ Practices for today:

• Girls Varsity Soccer: 4:00-5:30 PM in Andover.
• Boys Modified Soccer: NO PRACTICE.
• Girls Modified Soccer: NO PRACTICE.
• JV/Varsity Volleyball: NO PRACTICE.

 

🏆 Matches for today:

• Boys Varsity Soccer: at 6:30 PM at Keshequa in Nunda. The bus leaves at 4:30 PM.
• Modified Volleyball: 6:00 PM at Genesee Valley. The bus leaves at 4:40 PM.

 

🍕 Today for lunch: Pizza with Green Beans, Italian Sub, or Ham Wrap. 🍕
