Posted Date: 04/16/26 (02:54 PM)

Andover Central School is pleased to announce James Miller-Young as the Valedictorian for the Class of 2026. This achievement is a recognition of his hard work, focus, and commitment to excellence throughout his high school career. He is the son of Julie and Ben Finnemore, and Jessa Miller and Dawn Burdick.

James has challenged himself academically, most notably through his participation in the New Visions Health Professions program, where he has explored his interest in the medical field. As a member of the National Honor Society, he has demonstrated both academic strength and strong character.

Beyond the classroom, James has been an active participant in athletics, competing in soccer, basketball, and baseball. His involvement across multiple sports reflects his dedication, teamwork, and perseverance.

After graduation, James will attend St. John Fisher University to study Biology and play on their basketball team.  He then plans to attend Medical School and pursue a career as a Dermatologist. His determination and clear sense of direction position him well for continued success in the years ahead.

We celebrate James and his well-earned success!

We are proud to announce Naudia Pierson as the Salutatorian of the graduating class of 2026. The daughter of Crystal Johnson, Naudia has distinguished herself through her dedication to academics, leadership, and service.

A member of the National Honor Society, Naudia has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom. She has been actively involved in her school and community, working with the PAWS after-school program and contributing her time and energy to support younger students.

Naudia is a well-rounded student-athlete, participating in soccer and softball, while also serving as a cheerleader. Her ability to balance rigorous academics with extracurricular involvement speaks to her determination, work ethic, and positive attitude.

Following graduation, Naudia plans to attend University of South Carolina and pursue a degree in Business Economics. With her drive and ambition, there is no doubt she has a bright and successful future ahead.

Congratulations, Naudia, on this outstanding achievement!

James and Naudia, have worked extremely hard to earn this honor and should be very proud of their accomplishments!
