Are you passionate about guiding students towards a bright future? Andover Central School District is seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our dynamic team! As a School Counselor, you will work under the supervision of the Director of Pupil Services to empower students by providing valuable career and educational guidance, administering career assessments, and assisting in the development of educational and occupational goals. Your role will be instrumental in helping students evaluate their aptitudes, make informed course selections, and explore career opportunities.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
Support students in interpreting test scores and developing educational plans.
Guide students in course selections and evaluate career interests.
Provide information on occupational opportunities and assist with college admissions and scholarships.
Coordinate with faculty to address students' individual needs, including those with special needs.
Organize field trips and workshops to enhance learning experiences.
Maintain accurate student records and encourage parental involvement.
🔍 Qualifications:
New York State Certification as a School Counselor.

Starting at $52,862.
